Kokubunji Tachikawa Class Syllabus

The lessons are divided into 3 classes:

 Beginners

For the students who dance Salsa for the first time,
      absolute beginners

Let’s start with understanding the way to count the rhythm, which also can be used in all styles of Salsa, and get used to the music gradually.
This class is only for the people who just have started, so you don’t have to worry about slowing down the class by making a lot of mistakes. Let’s practice together very slowly and carefully enjoying the music and the dance. If you can give it a try for several continuous times in this class, then you will already become a "Salsa Dancer".

 Advanced Basic

For the students who have finished the "Biginner" Class,
who have some experience in other styles of Salsa dance

In this class, you will learn the important basic steps, turns and movements which are necessary and unique to the Cuban-Salsa, one by one. Let’s build the firm foundation of the dance in your body to be more available and flexible for all the dance-floors of all around the world. People who have some experience in Salsa dancing and wish to develop their dance further, please come this way.

 Intermediate

For the students who have finished the Advanced Basic-Class,
who have experience of Cuban-style salsa dance

Here, you will learn a lot of those advanced turns using the skills of the "Improver’s Basic"class, and how to apply them to the related dances such as Merengue, Cha-Cha-Cha, etc.so that you can increase your dance vocabulary and improvise like your native language.
Also in this class, you will start working on some details of the tips that will make you dance cooler, smoother, or sexier.
